The Balranald Murrumbidgee Classic Fishing Competition has being going strong for numerous years and has grown into the most popular fishing competition on the Murrumbidgee River held in beautiful Balranald.
The Balranald Murrumbidgee Classic is a catch and release competition with a maximum of 400 anglers.
The competition caters for both senior & junior anglers which makes it a fun weekend of fishing enjoyment for the whole family.

Dates of Event: 20th - 22nd March 2026. Friday the 20th is sign-in day

Ticket prices:
Adult Ticket: $160
Child Ticket under the age of 16: $110
Family/Full Crew Package 2 Adults and 2 children (under 16 yrs of age): $450
